The Executive Administrative Assistant position will provide a variety of administrative and clerical duties directly supporting Lockheed Martin’s Vice President of Space Communications. This is a multi-faceted role, providing moderate to complex recurring and ad hoc tasks in a dynamic environment. This position requires solid organization and time management skills, strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs through proactive identification of opportunities to engage or improve upon. The selected candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively multi-task in an executive-level deadline-driven environment as well as establish repeatable, consistent processes for ongoing projects. Further, the selected candidate will demonstrate clear and collaborative communications skills appropriate to a variety of business partners and an ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across the Communications team and its partners. In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities: Professionally interfacing with members of the Space Communications team, Lockheed Martin Space Executives, Leadership and employees as well as internal and external customers, Proactive calendar maintenance, coordinating/establishing meeting requests and other requests to the Communications VP office, Basic administrative support to the Communications team which includes office support (ordering supplies, etc.) and provide meeting support to the Communications team employees (room reservations, meeting assistance, etc.), Limited budget support, invoice processing and ordering, Demonstrates initiative, managing multiple priorities, tasks, problem-solving with minimal direction, Arranging travel, prepares and processes expense reports for the Communications VP, Prepares and processes expense reports for three Directors, Utilizes full complement of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint sites, Space Administrator for all PIRA including preparing and coordinating presentation materials, uploading documents and making edits/updates to overall Space system for all Public Information Release processes, Assisting in scheduling for visitors and reporters, Performs additional duties including special projects, event planning and tasks as required, The listed responsibilities and duties outlined in this job posting may be altered or updated by the employer at any time, without prior notice, depending on the needs of the company or role evolution. Requirements

  • 5+ years of administrative assistant experience supporting Director-level or above executives
  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and internet research skills
  • Demonstrated experience applying critical-thinking skills to task and calendar prioritization
  • Previous professional experience scheduling travel and expense reporting, as well as event planning
