The Executive Administrative Assistant, Medical Research provides primary support and assistance to the Vice President, Research Programs who is a member of the Executive Team and is responsible for the Department of Research Programs, the Research Advisory Board, and reports to the Executive Vice President. The Executive Administrative Assistant coordinates all official correspondence requiring the Vice President, Research Program’s approval and dissemination. The Executive Administrative Assistant effectively manages multiple projects, programs and initiatives within the department as directed, understands the requirements of the other members of the department, and prioritizes allocation of the executive’s time when discerning scheduled events or meetings. The Executive Administrative Assistant will demonstrate willingness and ability to be flexible, function as a team player, multi-task, and prioritize assignments to meet time-sensitive deadlines. The Executive Administrative Assistant demonstrates/exhibits excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as professional acumen in interpersonal interactions.
