EVS Special Projects Lead
About The Position
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Organize and lead special projects and work assignments, while coordinating same activities with other EVS team members and other departments. Plan, organize, and track special projects and deep cleaning activities to maximize effectiveness of tasks. Perform all Utility Porter functions as required such as: spot cleaning and extraction of carpets and upholstery, clean mirrors, windows, and pictures and frames, clean vents and covers on HVAC units, and Biohazard cleanup as required. Clean escalator landings, glass and metal. Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment; make arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment. Report and communicate equipment needs to management. Listen and respond to guest inquiries in a positive and professional manner. Provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to team members as needed. Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable and proficient in all EVS equipment, chemicals, & techniques.
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards.
- Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and complex task completion skills is required.
- Must have the following skills: coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, independent judgment, and decision making.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Minimum 1-2 years' of EVS Utility Porter experience or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
