About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Keep all areas of the property clean and clear of debris. Creates the first and lasting impression for our guests when entering and leaving our property. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Cleans slot machines, in between machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, restaurants, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the casino, hotel, office, or common areas. Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur. Cleans any biohazardous materials when it occurs. Removes trash from the trash container and places into dumpsters. Washes walks, ceilings and woodwork Other cleaning duties as assigned. Familiar with the proper use of chemicals and equipment. Consistently provides GREAT guest service by smiling, greeting, and providing a warm farewell, checking for satisfaction, and maintaining an upbeat, energetic, enthusiastic attitude. Presents oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Minimum 1 year work experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the Casino.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area.
Must be able to stand for the majority of assigned shift.
Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, PC computers
