About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning all items and surfaces in assigned areas and ensuring they meet Mohegan Sun’s standards of cleanliness.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience or ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patrons and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains the cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
• Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming using the proper chemicals, tools and equipment
• Services, cleans and supplies restrooms
• Empties trash containers, ashtrays and ash urns
• Polishes brass surfaces
• Ensures the safety of assigned keys
• Reports any damages to furniture, fixtures or equipment to the supervisor, as needed
• Carries and maintains proper cleaning supplies for assigned tasks
