About The Position

Justworks is seeking a creative and execution-focused Events Marketing Manager to own and deliver a portfolio of brand-forward and community-driven experiences that deepen relationships, elevate our brand presence, and strengthen strategic partnerships. In this role, you will manage end-to-end execution of a defined set of events - including community activations, brand partnerships, internal events, and third-party conferences. You’ll ensure each experience reflects our brand promise, builds authentic connections, and creates measurable engagement. You operate with minimal oversight, balancing creativity with operational rigor. You understand that exceptional brand and community events require thoughtful storytelling, strong partnerships, and disciplined execution.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience managing brand and community-driven B2B events.
  • Understand how to design experiences that feel thoughtful, intentional, and aligned to brand values.
  • Experience supporting or executing co-branded activations and understand how to balance partner goals with brand integrity and audience experience.
  • Care deeply about the details that shape audience experience—from invitation through follow-up - and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Work effectively with Brand, Community, Field Marketing, Content, and external partners to align messaging and execution without overcomplicating the process.
  • Manage multiple programs simultaneously, stay organized under pressure, and operate confidently with minimal oversight.
  • Focus on aligning behaviors to our core values known as COGIS (Camaraderie, Openness, Grit, Integrity, Simplicity).

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end execution of assigned events across brand partnerships, community initiatives, key third-party moments, and internal events.
  • Ensure every experience reflects Justworks’ brand values and delivers meaningful engagement.
  • Support the development and execution of brand partnerships that extend Justworks’ reach and credibility.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations on co-branded activations, shared event experiences, and integrated storytelling.
  • Ensure alignment on audience, positioning, deliverables, and brand standards while maintaining a seamless guest experience.
  • Develop clear event briefs outlining target audience segments, experience goals (engagement, awareness, relationship-building, meetings), messaging, and success metrics.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Community, Field Marketing, and Content to ensure cohesive storytelling and consistent execution.
  • Translate brand values into high-quality experiences.
  • Manage venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, production, run-of-show, guest experience, and onsite execution.
  • Maintain high standards for hospitality, design, and audience flow while proactively managing risk.
  • Manage budgets for assigned events and partnership activations, tracking spend against forecast and making thoughtful tradeoffs to maximize impact within established guardrails.
  • Track performance across engagement metrics (attendance, participation, partner reach, qualitative feedback, meetings, community growth) and event-influenced pipeline where applicable.
  • Deliver clear post-event reporting and recommend improvements to continuously elevate program quality.
  • Serve as a strong operator within the Events team, mentoring P1–P2 team members on logistics rigor, stakeholder communication, vendor management, and post-event reporting discipline.
