Corporate Communications & Events is a shared service supporting VGM Group. This team provides marketing, branding, communications and events support to more than 20 VGM business units and 1600+ employee owners across 5 locations and 40 states. Position Summary: The Events Intern will assist and support the events team with internal and external meetings, events, tradeshows and conferences of VGM Group companies. This includes involvement in planning, marketing, budgeting, coordination, supervision and evaluation. Interaction with internal and external customers or potential customers is possible with sales support as needed. The right candidate must be detail oriented, demonstrate good communication skills and work well in a team and individual environment. As an intern, one will be afforded the opportunity to work and experience VGM’s unique business environment and dynamic culture. The intern must be able to handle multiple concurrent projects and be very detail oriented.
