About The Position
As the Full-Time Events & Experience Manager at the Girl Scouts of Eastern IA and Western IL, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing year-round programs that align with the council’s strategic priorities. This position requires a dedicated professional who excels in time management and collaboration, as you will work cross-departmentally to create inclusive, girl-centered events that empower young girls. By fostering strong partnerships with volunteers and community organizations, you will contribute to an environment that nurtures growth, leadership, and community connection. Your creativity will be essential in developing innovative programming that engages participants and promotes lasting impact within the community.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum age of 21
- Two years of experience in youth or community programming or a comparable combination of education and volunteer work
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Willingness to obtain necessary safety certifications
- Comfort using or learning CRM and project management tools like Salesforce, Trello, or Monday.com
