About The Position

Join our dynamic team as an Events Assistant, where your passion for organizing and executing exceptional events will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand's presence in the community. In this position, you will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events, from corporate meetings to promotional activities and community outreach programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of various events.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and services.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue setup and breakdown, catering, and equipment rentals.
  • Support the Events Manager in developing event budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Create and maintain event schedules and timelines to ensure smooth execution.
  • Liaise with participants and attendees, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Collect feedback from event participants to improve future events.
