Requirements

  • Proven experience in event planning, catering coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management/coordination, Culinary, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft word suite, Canva, and Pxier.
  • Experience in a high-volume catering or event environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all private event and catering inquiries.
  • Coordinate bookings, room schedules, and catering logistics.
  • Provide timely, detailed responses on services, menus, and availability.
  • Align event plans with client/resident needs and budgets.
  • Collaborate with culinary team to create custom menus.
  • Manage Menu approvals and communicate catering details.
  • Oversee event space reservations and calendar.
  • Coordinate setup, décor, AV, and housekeeping needs.
  • Develop event timelines and production schedules.
  • Manage setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal teams for smooth operations.
  • Build strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements.
  • Resolve issues professionally and support quality assurance efforts.
