Events and Catering Manager

Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning, catering coordination, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management/coordination, Culinary, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft word suite, Canva, and Pxier.
- Experience in a high-volume catering or event environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead all private event and catering inquiries.
- Coordinate bookings, room schedules, and catering logistics.
- Provide timely, detailed responses on services, menus, and availability.
- Align event plans with client/resident needs and budgets.
- Collaborate with culinary team to create custom menus.
- Manage Menu approvals and communicate catering details.
- Oversee event space reservations and calendar.
- Coordinate setup, décor, AV, and housekeeping needs.
- Develop event timelines and production schedules.
- Manage setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Liaise with vendors and internal teams for smooth operations.
- Build strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements.
- Resolve issues professionally and support quality assurance efforts.
