About The Position

In this role, you will support the event and catering team by managing customer inquiries and coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution. You will serve as a key liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring specialty events are delivered seamlessly and exceed client expectations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a guest-focused, can-do attitude.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in hospitality or event coordination
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed instructions, event requests, and correspondence with strong attention to grammar and detail
  • Ability to write clear, professional, and efficient email correspondence
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Guest-focused mindset with a positive, helpful, and proactive attitude
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
  • Ability to interact with a diverse, high-volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Flexible schedule availability based on business needs
  • Knowledge of hospitality operations with at least two years of related experience
  • Ability to meet unit-specific uniform standards and comply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the operational elements of all specialty events
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to catering and event planning services
  • Communicate thoroughly and professionally with clients and internal departments
  • Remain on site during events to ensure all details align with client expectations
  • Process customer requests, order changes, menu updates, and client profile updates using web-based ordering systems
  • Provide internal communication and administrative support to the events team
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while prioritizing tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Perform other duties as assigned
