Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and engaged leader to manage our Event Technology team while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a professional environment, including 5+ years specializing in meeting and event technology.
  • Proven experience leading and managing teams.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cvent, with the ability to elevate platform capabilities and guide others in best practices.
  • Working knowledge of additional registration platforms, with a willingness to evaluate and implement new solutions.
  • Experience building event mobile apps and managing onsite badge printing operations.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn, implement, and leverage new technologies across multiple databases and platforms.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), with a strong emphasis on data management and reporting in Excel.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, with the ability to support and enhance registration websites.
  • Strong team player who thrives in collaborative environments, adapts well to change, and delivers consistently under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional hospitality mindset and interpersonal skills, with a passion for client service, team mentorship, and attendee engagement.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an Event Technology team fostering growth and ensuring strong expertise in Cvent and other event technology platforms.
  • Provide hands-on support by reviewing and testing event technology elements, including Cvent sites, mobile apps, onsite badge setups, sponsorship and housing portals, surveys, and program communications.
  • Uphold process standards for registration, mobile apps, reporting, testing, and post-launch responsibilities.
  • Support onboarding and training across Event Tech in collaboration with Attendee Experience leadership team.
  • Stay current on Cvent and other technology platforms to maximize capabilities and maintain best-in-class service for clients.
  • Manage your own workload, including registration websites, mobile app builds, and onsite badge printing projects, while also providing support and guidance to the team.
  • Address resourcing gaps for builds, badge printing, app builds, and overall team support.
  • Fill onsite roles as needed, such as Registration Lead or Event Tech Oversight
  • Assist team leadership in exploring new technologies and best practices to elevate team performance and maintain a competitive edge
