About The Position

The Event Server Assistant supports the proper and timely delivery of food and beverage service during Club events. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of event venues—including the event tent, patios, staging areas, and service stations—and for transporting event supplies and equipment to and from the Clubhouse as needed. Responsibilities include stocking and preparing tableware, glassware, and service items, assisting with buffet setup and replenishment, and supporting table service through duties such as filling waters and delivering food. This position may assist in clearing and resetting event spaces before, during, and after events. No supervisory duties are included.

  • Must be able to pass employment background check and motor vehicle record checks.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana; must be insurable under the company’s auto insurance policy.
  • Must be able to work variable schedule or irregular hours to include last-minute scheduling needs/changes and working split shifts based on needs of the Club operations and scheduled events.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekday, weekend, and evening/late evening hours as required.
  • Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions as needed and to walk on uneven ground.
  • Ability to perform same-day travel on Stock Farm Property and within local geographic region.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience as food expeditor, busser, waitstaff, server, or similar position.
  • Experience in a private club or fine dining environment.
  • Prior satisfactory performance as a team member of the Stock Farm Club.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up event spaces including the event tent, patios, and adjacent areas; before, during, and after events to ensure a clean, organized, and professional atmosphere.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the event tent, service stations, and event-specific reach-ins, staging areas, and similar spaces.
  • Transports event equipment, décor, supplies, and food & beverage items to and from the Clubhouse or other designated locations as needed.
  • Prepares event tableware, glassware, flatware, linens, and related service items; stocks service stations with necessary supplies.
  • Assists with table service by filling water glasses, replenishing beverages, delivering food to tables, and supporting servers as needed.
  • Assists in the setup, stocking, and replenishment of buffets, action stations, and beverage stations according to Club standards.
  • Busses and cleans tables as members/guests depart, ensuring adherence to Club policy, procedure, and service standards.
  • Collects and disposes of trash from event spaces, service areas, and designated outdoor locations.
  • Assists Servers and event staff with preparation of condiments, garnishes, and ordered menu items as directed.
  • Transfers information between members/guests, kitchen staff, and server/event staff as needed (e.g., special requests or preferences).
  • Communicates regularly with the Event Captain or Service Captain to ensure all needs are met and tasks are completed throughout the event.
  • Greets members and guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.
