About The Position

The Event Sales Manager oversees sales and solicits new business, continuously developing and implementing plans for marketing of weddings, mitzvahs, corporate events, etc., This person will handle all incoming leads and is responsible for researching, designing, planning, coordinating and evaluating events. This role involves managing all staff for events and coordinating the events with the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

  • Actively solicit new business to grow sales by proactively identifying new business opportunities and increasing visibility
  • Target new clients through in person office visits, email outreach, social media, etc.
  • Foster client relationships through ongoing communication to ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Develop, implement and monitor standards of service to ensure the highest quality of product and service is consistent and maintained.
  • Regularly evaluate services and continue to grow in new ideas to strive for excellence
  • Recruit, train, schedule and supervise banquet service team
  • Maintain pricing for all events, keeping up with fluctuating costs
  • Ensure proper billing for all events
  • Conduct weekly BEO meetings with banquet and kitchen staff to ensure successful and accurate execution of each event.
  • Participate in industry and community events to stay current with trends.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience on the phone, via email and in person from the inquiry to the post event follow up
