As a Event Planner Intern-Level Two you are responsible learning all aspects of meeting and event planning. Requirements

You are currently enrolled in a related higher education program
You are available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
You are able to communicate effectively - both verbal and written, and have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
You are focused, detail-oriented, able to display positive customer service and a team player
You are over 18 years old
You have successfully completed a prior entry-level event planning, food and beverage, or related internship

Responsibilities

Becoming familiar with the culture, history and expectations of Boyne Mountain Resort
Organizing and overseeing all arrangements for corporate, social, in-house group meetings, conventions, and banquets
Determining group needs and activities by working one-on-one with various meeting planners and group contacts
Conducting on-site inspections and tours of facilities with prospective clients
Creating event diagrams based on resort & client requirements
Developing Group Resumes & Banquet Event Orders outlining all event details for operational involvement
Assisting with event set-up and banquet execution
Learning any tasks relevant to your educational experience as assigned by department manager
