As an Event Marketing Manager, you will own a critical channel for marketing pipeline - tradeshows and customer events. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you'll work closely with Sales, Channel, and Marketing to create successful events that increase brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and collaborative while balancing a strategic mindset with strong execution. You thrive in fast-paced environments, balance creativity with structure, and are passionate about delivering memorable event experiences that convert.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of event marketing experience, preferably in B2B technology
  • Highly organized, scrappy, and able to roll your sleeves up.
  • Strategic and growth-oriented mindset to learn quickly, iterate, and continuously improve event execution.
  • Self-starter and quick thinker with excellent time-management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability, with the ability to strategically prioritize and complete tasks.
  • Keen design sensibility, creative thinking, and a high bar for quality and excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for conferences and events.

  • Experience managing large scale events and creative experiences

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Rhombus event marketing strategy and schedule, including, but not limited to tradeshows, customer conferences, lunch and learns, and internal events.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Growth Marketing to create an event strategy that builds consistent pipeline and world class event experiences for customers and partners.
  • Create pre-event and post-event strategies to drive engagement, deepen relationships, and help convert leads and badge scans into opportunities.
  • Iterate and implement a repeatable event playbook, which includes processes, templates, promotional emails, landing pages, post-event surveys, etc. and best practices to help manage a variety of strategic events at scale.
  • Enable sales and Rhombus staff at events with event logistics and industry specific messaging.
  • Coordinate logistics, shipping procedures, and arrangements pre and post events.
  • Research, select, negotiate, and manage vendors and services for the events we attend and sponsor.
  • Track trade show and event effectiveness with focus on pipeline created, lead engagement, and conversions to inform the event strategy.
