Event Marketing Manager
About The Position
Joyce is seeking an Event Marketing Manager for the Charlotte and Columbia markets to promote our products and services at local events while leading a team of event marketers. In this highly visible role, you will represent the Joyce brand, engage with the public, and ensure successful event execution from planning through onsite delivery. This position combines hands-on event participation with leadership responsibilities. You will develop event partnerships, oversee scheduling, train and motivate your team, and create a strong pipeline of leads for the sales organization. This opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys autonomy, team development, and influencing local marketing strategy.
Requirements
- 2+ years of event marketing or team lead experience
- Willingness to travel throughout the Charlotte and Columbia markets
- A results-driven mindset with proven success meeting appointment-setting goals
- Flexibility to work events during evenings and weekends
- Leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
- Ability to lift and set up tents, tables, banners, and basic event equipment

- Experience in home improvement or construction event marketing
Responsibilities
- Identify, plan, and manage a market wide event calendar
- Execute events in Charlotte and Columbia personally and through staff oversight
- Build and maintain relationships with event partners and venues
- Coordinate contract execution, payments, and logistics
- Lead event setup and tear-down to ensure a polished brand presentation
- Serve as a brand ambassador at events, engaging attendees and promoting Joyce products
- Identify and launch new self-generated events and outreach strategies
- Track event performance, budgets, and ROI
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing event marketing team
- Build schedules, manage personnel, and resolve conflicts
- Maintain and order marketing and promotional materials
