About The Position

Events at MoEngage are a core GTM lever, not a support function. As Event Marketing Lead, NA, you will own the strategy, prioritization, and execution of MoEngage’s North America event portfolio across owned events, third-party conferences, partner-led programs, and sales-driven activations. This role requires strong judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to move fast without perfect clarity. This is an ownership role, not coordination.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of event or field marketing experience, ideally in high-growth enterprise SaaS
  • Strong judgment and comfort operating in ambiguity
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and partners without formal authority
  • Clear understanding of sales-led vs marketing-led events
  • Flexible, hands-on operator with a “multiple hats” mindset
  • Comfortable with an “ask for forgiveness, not permission” operating style
  • Resilient under pressure and steady in messy environments

Responsibilities

  • Own the North America events portfolio across owned, third-party, partner-led, and sales-driven programs
  • Define clear frameworks for: Which events we invest in, Levels of spend, Event ownership (Marketing vs Sales vs Partners)
  • Lead events end to end, from strategy through execution and post-event impact
  • Make decisions and execute amid shifting priorities, constraints, and incomplete information
  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to align events to target accounts and regional needs
  • Work with Partnerships to manage shared ownership, branding, and expectations
  • Collaborate with Demand Gen, Content, and Brand to ensure clear messaging and consistent experiences
  • Manage budgets and make deliberate tradeoffs
  • Communicate event impact and influence future investment decisions
