The Event Manager is responsible for planning and executing events ranging from performances and galas to meetings, festivals, and rentals. Acting as the central point of contact, the Event Manager coordinates across departments—production, box office, front of house, security, and facilities—to ensure each event runs smoothly. This role requires equal focus on pre-event planning, real-time problem solving, and post-event evaluation. Providing outstanding customer care to create a positive, memorable experience is essential. The Event Manager must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, often under tight deadlines. The schedule for this role includes regular daytime hours as well as frequent nights, weekends, and some holidays. This position requires a strong understanding of event and production operations, including client management, event coordination, and team leadership. Due to the dynamic nature of the Center, the Event Manager will also support additional duties as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and an exceptional team player with excellent interpersonal skills. They should thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism. A self-starter mentality, sound independent judgment, and a positive attitude aligned with the Center’s Core Values are all essential to success in this role.
