About The Position

Principal responsibility is to provide a clean and safe kitchen area. Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.

Requirements

Positive and upbeat attitude and work well with all team members
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to work unsupervised
Must be able to work weekends
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Punctual
Energetic and motivated personality
Excellent oral communication and listening skills
Ability to follow directions
Be willing to work until the job is complete and perform other duties assigned
Able to reach, bend, safely lift, and maneuver up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds with assistance
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time

Responsibilities

Remain guest focused while performing all assigned duties before, during or after an event
Assumes 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware
Washes and polishes dishes, flatware and glassware
Maintains clean and safe work space
Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems to Management immediately
Bag and haul trash to dumpster
Handle tables, chairs, linens, tableware and décor carefully to prevent breakage and loss
Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
Always follow safe food handling guidelines
Attend all scheduled employee meetings and provides suggestions for improvement
Other duties as assigned
