SUMMARY OF THE JOB: The Event and Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional marketing programs and projects that support brand, growth, and engagement objectives. This role serves as the operational backbone of the marketing team, ensuring each task of initiative is delivered on time, on budget, and on brand to a high standard of quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, program management, or a related role. CAPM or PMP designation beneficial.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven experience managing multiple vendors, event activation, experiential marketing, or large-scale events simultaneously
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple departments.
  • Advanced level use of Excel as well as other project management software.
  • Strong analytical skills for budget analysis.
  • Strong verbal skills for managing vendor conversations and management.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the project plans, tracking, reporting, execution, and optimization of marketing programs and events, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversees project management, event logistics, budget and vendor management, and drives reporting and continuous improvement across all initiatives.
  • Manage the planning and execution of events, sponsorship activations, and experiential programs
  • Oversee all event logistics and deliverables including venue coordination, vendor management, timelines, run-of-show, travel, signage, collateral, and on-site execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, partners, and external vendors related to events
  • Ensure events are on-brand, compliant, and aligned with marketing and business objectives
  • Lead post-event evaluation, including ROI analysis, learnings, and recommendations
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of programs, from intake and scoping through delivery and post-program evaluation
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Establish clear workflows, milestones, dependencies, and accountability across internal teams and external partners
  • Proactively identify risks, constraints, and interdependencies; recommend solutions to keep programs on track
  • Drive alignment across brand, digital, content, analytics, and business stakeholders
  • Partner closely with brand, digital, social, content, PR, and business line teams to ensure integrated execution
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, finance, procurement, and operations as needed
  • Function as a central connector and communicator across teams to ensure clarity and momentum
  • Manage program and event budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation
  • Assist in negotiating and managing applicable vendor contracts and relationships to ensure quality, value, and timely delivery
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, brand standards, and compliance requirements
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for programs and events
  • Track performance, timelines, and outcomes; provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Capture insights and best practices to improve future programs and processes
