About The Position

VP Racing is seeking an on-site Event & Brand Activation Specialist to join our high-performance team in San Antonio, Texas. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with Sales and Marketing to design and deliver impactful strategies that drive awareness, preference, and demand for VP Racing products at events and tradeshows. Part event coordinator and part front-line brand ambassador, you’ll lead the planning and logistics of tradeshows and activations while creating memorable experiences that captivate both new and loyal customers. From motorsport races and car culture gatherings to retail promotions and fan activations, you’ll represent the VP Racing brand with energy and professionalism — generating leads, building social engagement, and encouraging product trial and purchase. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role based out of our San Antonio Headquarters, where no two days are the same. Requirements

The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise.
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; AND at least five (5) years of experience for a high-profile consumer brand or activation agency (Sports or Retail marketing background a plus) ; OR any combination of education and experience that results in the applicable skills, knowledge, and abilities
Willingness to travel up to 35–50%, including weekends

Responsibilities

Plan, activate, and positively represent VP Racing at field marketing activities including fan zones, giveaways, influencer appearances, ride-along(s), and other experiential activations.
Lead planning and logistics for tradeshows, conferences, and retail activations — including event registration, kickoff meetings, and asset management.
Develop and implement innovative brand activation strategies that connect with fans, partners, and retail customers.
Serve as a liaison with tradeshow promoters, track personnel, sponsored athletes, dealers, and retail partners.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure cohesive brand messaging and ROI-focused execution.
Manage merchandise inventory and on-site sales at activation events as needed.
Transport, setup, staff, and tear down activation assets (booths, trailers, pop-ups, displays).
Hire and manage local brand ambassadors for event activations.
Maintain VP Racing vans, trailers, and event displays in show-ready condition.
Track, measure, and report on event ROI, lead generation, and engagement metrics.
Support additional marketing projects and campaigns as assigned.
