Evening Public Area Attendant (Full-Time) - The Hacienda Hotel by Best Western Plus
About The Position
At the Hacienda Hotel Old Town, the evening experience matters. We are seeking an Evening Public Area Attendant who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests throughout the property. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that as guests return for the evening, every space-from walkways to restrooms to the plaza-feels well-maintained, comfortable, and cared for.This is a highly active, hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes ownership of their work, and notices the details others may miss.

- Evening shifts required
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Flexible schedule based on business needs
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas (indoor & outdoor)
- Ensure walkways, stairwells, and common areas are clean, safe, and free of debris
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms thoroughly and consistently
- Maintain cleanliness of high-touch areas including: Door handles Railings Light switches Elevators and common surfaces
- Ensure the property is guest-ready throughout the evening hours
- Support the overall atmosphere of the hotel by keeping spaces clean, stocked, and organized
- Maintain the appearance of: Plaza and seating areas Pool and fitness center Guest laundry areas Ice and vending areas
- Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and décor throughout the property
- Spot clean or shampoo carpets as needed
- Clean and polish surfaces including woodwork, metal fixtures, and glass
- Maintain exterior areas including benches, light fixtures, and guest room door fronts
- Assist with laundry or housekeeping tasks during slower periods
- Support room readiness by assisting with stripping beds or linen movement as needed
- Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and Front Desk teams
- Follow all safety, cleanliness, and chemical handling protocols
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns immediately
- Report lost & found items according to company procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
- Support other departments as needed to ensure overall hotel success
