About The Position

We are seeking an EU Category Head for Camera Lenses and Accessories, joining our Pan-European Product Marketing team. You should be someone with a deep understanding of cameras & lenses, and how to drive business using our leading market position to ensure growth across your categories. Once you have established yourself within the company and developed an understanding of our ways of working, we want your unique perspective, innovative ideas, and creative expertise to find new angles and ways to improve sales, profit and ultimately growth. You should have experience working with internal commercial teams, forecasting, presenting and justifying analysis and proposals to leadership, and working with country-teams to drive alignment and agendas. You will join a high performing team of experts, within a very healthy category which has some exciting unexplored areas, and regular launches of new products for your category! You will enjoy the collaboration and quality of communication across colleagues in Europe and Tokyo, and you will find that we can be very agile, which you will be vital when steering business direction.

Requirements

  • Experience in consumer and professional electronics or fast-paced industry
  • Knowledge of the Digital Imaging industry is a strong advantage
  • Experience in analysis-driven product/marketing/commercial position
  • Experience to manage, deal and influence within an international environment
  • Previous responsibility over sales budgets
  • Understanding and usage of critical metric setting and return on investment
  • Experience and ability in presentations
  • Willingness to travel to visit local EU markets (once per quarter)

Responsibilities

  • Maximize Sales, Profit, and attachment ratio with camera body
  • Define product line-up strategy for Europe and manage product lifecycle from Launch to EOL
  • Define and implement Marketing strategy at European level
  • Define and implement Channel strategy at European level
  • In-depth market knowledge to identity opportunities and risks
  • Implement sell-out driven operation to minimize inventory risk
