PURPOSE OF POSITION: To assist the Employment Training Specialists to ensure quality of daily program services; to act as a liaison for consumers, family members, funding source case managers, residential programs, and employers, assuring optimal program service. Assist the Supported Employment manager with some of the administrative aspects of the Supported Employment program.

Responsibilities

  • Receives work and safety instructions and answers questions.
  • Communicates with management, co-workers and consumers.
  • Coordinates ETS coverage for consumers enrolled in Supported Employment, external situational assessments, and mobility training.
  • Ensures that all external situational assessments and mobility trainings are coordinated, completed, reports written and submitted, staffings conducted, and proper paperwork accomplished.
  • Assists in training ETS’s in the performance of their duties, including non-aversive behavior management training, consumer goal development, implementation, reports, and communication skills.
  • Maintains and ensures the accurate completion of all consumer documentation which is assigned to their ETS caseload.
  • Coordinates and implements appropriate consumer crisis intervention.
  • Notifies Client Services Manager immediately if any problems, concerns, or challenges occur with consumers, co-workers, care providers, families, funding source agents and/or employers.
  • Provides on-going support to enable staff to achieve their professional goals.
  • Coordinates consumer employment activities with ETS's, program coordinator, consumers, care providers, and families.
  • Regularly meets with the Client Services Manager to discuss consumer progress and training.
  • Works cooperatively with job developers in coordinating new placements.
  • Familiarizes self with all job sites and consumer activities in order to be able to act as a substitute in the event of an ETS's absence.
  • Participates in consumer staffings.
  • Attends all Supported Employment staff meetings as scheduled and conducts meetings when necessary.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the Supported Employment time studies, adhering to Labor Laws and CARF requirements.
  • Monitors Supported Employment job coaching authorizations, i.e., insures authorizations prior to placement. Requests additional hours as required. Proofreads billable reports to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  • Responsible for insuring maximum billing hours for all consumers are attained.
  • Responsible for client record review inventory compliance.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of our assigned company vehicles.
  • Monitors and ensures that all job coaches provide current proof of valid California Drivers’ License and Auto Insurance.
  • Assists program manager, as needed, with potential ETS job interviews.
  • Attends IHC meetings.
  • Attends job placement team meetings.
  • Drives on company business as required.
  • Works overtime as required.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.
