About The Position

Golden State Home Repair & Renovations, Inc. is searching for an experienced, full-time Estimator - Residential Remodeling Crew Member to join our team based in Murrieta, CA. WHAT YOU GET: PAY & BENEFITS This is a full-time, Tuesday through Saturday opportunity offering competitive pay between $30,000 and $50,000/year , depending on experience, with bonuses, a cell phone stipend, and a gas card . We also offer a full-time weekday schedule, on-site work dispatched directly from your home, and mileage reimbursement for certain projects. You'll serve clients across the Inland Empire, desert areas, and North San Diego County. Plus. ESTIMATOR - RESIDENTIAL REMODELING CREW MEMBER: YOUR ROLE As an Estimator - Residential Remodeling Crew Member, you will begin your day by reporting to our central location before heading out to project sites across the Murrieta area and beyond. You will meet with clients to discuss their renovation needs, sell and sign projects, and gather all necessary details to prepare precise and comprehensive cost estimates. Your day will involve reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and contract documents, as well as researching, writing, and negotiating with vendors or subcontractors. Every day, your self-motivation and drive for excellence will help deliver top-notch results for our clients. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Home remodeling experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to forecast building costs and use estimation formulas Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents Valid driver's license and clean driving record Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive for success Preferred: 5+ years of experience in construction estimating for residential renovation projects Knowledgeable in Xactimate Knowledgeable in BuilderTrend YOUR HOURS You will work full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, from 8 am to 5 pm . While shifts may vary, all work will be completed within regular business hours. Employees report to a central location before heading out to service areas each day.
