About The Position

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Haltom City, Texas, TRP Construction Group is a leading provider of safety-critical and highly regulated roadway marking and traffic control solutions primarily to state and local government end-customers, whom it serves either directly or through general contractors. TRP’s core offering focuses on recurring maintenance projects to maintain the safety of America’s roadways. The Company has operations in Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Arkansas. Position Summary: As an Estimating Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our estimating team by coordinating the preparation of cost estimates and proposals for various projects. Your responsibilities will include gathering information / documentation, assisting in preparing proposals and bid forms, and ensuring all proposals are accurate and submitted on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software, Microsoft Office and other relevant tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in estimating tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Support estimators throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create and maintain projects in HeavyBid
  • Organize, maintain and update estimating folders
  • Assist in maintaining estimating and bid solicitation software
  • Maintain bid sheet
  • Order project drawings/specifications
  • Maintain log-in info to plan rooms
  • Create and maintain estimating dates on shared calendars
  • Oversee and maintain subcontractor/vendor database
  • Manage and maintain yearly bid sheet
  • Assist in creating proposal letters
  • Create proposal presentation
  • Acquire necessary bid bonds
  • Perform all public bid document/administrative duties
  • Pre-qual submissions and government compliance
