About The Position

Seeking a talented Estate Planning attorney licensed in California to join our firm located in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will handle estate plan preparation for clients, providing advice on provisions and strategies to achieve their objectives. Responsibilities include supporting the legal team, meeting with current and potential estate planning clients, and simplifying complex legal processes. Compensation: $100,000 annually + bonus, with benefits including 401(k), PTO, Holiday Pay, and medical, dental, and vision insurance. This is an in-person position requiring relocation if not local. Client interaction Candidate would oversee staff members in signing and notarizing documents Candidate should be familiar with Word and Wealth Counsel The Attorney would need to be comfortable working independently and handling their caseload with the legal support team Review, summarize, and critique existing and/or proposed new estate planning documents Cultivate relationships with the firm’s existing and future clients by maintaining consistent and timely communication Draft & Review Estate Planning documents, Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Power of Attorney, Health Care Directives Deed Preparation, trust transfer Deeds, and Quitclaim deeds Perform legal research Teamwork with other staff members as necessary

Requirements

  • CA licensed attorney with previous experience with Estate Planning matters
  • Familiar with Word and Wealth Counsel
  • Comfortable working independently and handling their caseload with the legal support team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary; the position requires extensive professional contact with clients to design effective estate-planning strategies
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and possess the initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Requires exceptional verbal, analytical, communication, drafting, writing, and research skills, with the ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Relocation if not local
