Essential Functions 1) Set up and adjust students’ online learning programs Set up online accounts for new students Put students in online classes quarterly Adjust online classes with student class changes and late registrations Communicate with instructors and students about non-working accounts Troubleshoot login and password problems independently and with vendors Prepare and send student materials as needed 2) Participate in the department assessment team Assist with student orientations Occasionally proctor for orientations and post-testing Understand the testing system well enough to advise and troubleshoot Use databases to set up Excel testing spreadsheets and student testing hours Participate in notifying students for post-assessments 3) Create, populate, and adjust online/digital attendance sheets for ESL instructors Share attendance sheets with appropriate instructors Populate online attendance quarterly Add and move students to correct classes with class changes and late registrations 4) Perform changes to data sources Add new instructors to contact lists and share with the Adult Education office Add and update student information in the state reporting system 5) Maintain book and materials inventory Inventory and alert the Assistant Director regarding student textbook needs Inventory and alert appropriate staff regarding paperwork printing and preparation Support making print orders 6) Support data collection and entry for partner ESL programs Receive and enter the initial state student enrollment paperwork in the state database Keep student testing data up-to-date on partner organization spreadsheets Complete student files and forward them to the appropriate staff members 7) Serve as a Member of the Adult Education Team Attend meetings as scheduled Contribute to meetings in constructive ways Communicate regularly with supervisor and others in the department Exercise professionalism and teamwork Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students, faculty members, and college employees feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute.
