About The Position

The ERP Workday Program Manager – Finance leads the end-to-end delivery of the Workday Finance domain within a large-scale, complex ERP transformation. This role is responsible for overall planning, execution, governance, risk management, and successful deployment of the Finance workstream, while ensuring alignment with the broader enterprise ERP program. The ideal candidate brings deep Workday Financials implementation experience, strong program governance expertise, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in highly regulated environments, particularly within healthcare.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of ERP program and delivery management experience, with a strong focus on healthcare environments.
  • Minimum of two (2) full-cycle Workday implementations within the Finance functional domain.
  • Proven experience delivering complex ERP programs in regulated environments.
  • Strong background in program management, delivery execution, and dependency management.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Financials implementation and oversight.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program governance, risk management, and delivery controls.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across functional, technical, and integration workstreams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting finance-related functions within ERP implementations (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Reporting).
  • Proven ability to translate finance business requirements into Workday system design and configuration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex dependencies and program risks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with finance leaders and technology teams.
  • Comfortable operating in structured, highly regulated environments with formal governance and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of the Workday Finance domain within a large enterprise ERP program.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones for the Finance workstream.
  • Lead and manage inter-workstream dependencies to ensure cohesive and synchronized program delivery.
  • Identify, track, and proactively mitigate risks and issues impacting the Finance workstream.
  • Ensure all Workday Finance deliverables meet agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.
  • Lead Finance-related Workday implementation activities across the full ERP lifecycle, from planning and design through deployment and stabilization.
  • Coordinate functional, technical, and integration efforts across finance-related domains.
  • Ensure strong alignment between finance business requirements and Workday system design, configuration, testing, and delivery.
  • Apply robust program governance, delivery controls, and risk management practices.
  • Partner closely with Finance stakeholders to support accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis needs within the Workday solution.
  • Provide clear status reporting, executive communication, and stakeholder management throughout the program lifecycle.
