About The Position

The ERP System Developer is responsible for providing system support of our ERP System, while also supporting all departments and users who rely on our ERP System.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes.
  • Knowledge of business operations and IT processes in Manufacturing.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to work across functional and technical teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in an Oracle ERP and MES environment.
  • Capacity to continuously learn new IT applications/components to be able to support them.
  • Microsoft Windows.
  • Windows applications.
  • Rubicon.
  • Largely a sedentary role, however, routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and printers.
  • Occasionally lifting, moving, or carrying equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Visual acuity required.
  • Professional office environment.
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles due to necessary communication with warehouse personnel.
  • Occasionally exposed to noise level that is moderate to high.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Observes and participates in the full ERP System Development Lifecycle, including design, implementation, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Monitors performance and addresses unexpected behavior.
  • Researches, troubleshoots, and provides solutions to technical issues reported by the user or other team members. Escalates issues for resolution when appropriate.
  • Presents alternatives for requirements and solution design and suggests improvements in business processes.
  • Assists in solution development and bug troubleshooting.
  • Works with cross-functional teams, and other IT and business stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of systems projects.
  • Documents processes, uses cases, best practices and requirements and shares with multiple teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
