About The Position

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Software Automation ProjectManager II directs multi-department projects of moderate to large scope. The role refines requirements, manages resources, schedules, budgets, and coordinates daily work for cross-functional teams. The ERP and Software Automation Project Manager II communicates progress to management and shop floor staff, resolves issues promptly, and shares knowledge with junior teammates while continually improving project methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business, or a related field required; master’s degree in business administration or active enrollment in an MBA program preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive project-management experience leading high-impact, cross-functional technology projects
  • Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute multi-department projects, building schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts aligned to clear business goals
  • Facilitate requirement sessions, document user stories, and bridge gaps between needs and technical limits
  • Manage stakeholder communication, status reporting, and decision tracking; escalate blockers with recommendations
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of assigned project resources to keep deliverables on track
  • Brief executives and factory-floor personnel, tailoring updates to each group
  • Approve minor scope or budget changes within delegated authority to safeguard value and timeline
  • Identify dependencies and risks, coordinate mitigation activities, and contingency plans
  • Oversee user testing, cut-over planning, and post-go-live support to ensure smooth transitions
  • Produce KPIs, variance analyses, and post-implementation reviews and apply insights to future projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, templates, checklists, and process tweaks, while modeling a consulting mindset
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior staff
  • Visit production areas regularly to validate adoption, uncover friction, build relationships, and identify new opportunities
