About The Position

As an ERP Business Process Manager, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, testing, controlling, and optimizing the operational processes and procedures within Airbus US. You will also be responsible for the material management domain and for the quality & integrity of business data (consistency of reliable, relevant, and usable data). You will lead process excellence through continuous improvements projects and collaborate with various departments to streamline workflows. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ERP modules and their integration with organizational processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
  • At least six years of experience with SAP ERP System.
  • Strong knowledge of the Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM) and Quality Management (QM) modules.
  • Basic knowledge of the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Plant Maintenance (PM) SAP modules.
  • Proficient in Excel with experience in creating automated reports.
  • Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications, and able to quickly master new computerized tools including Jira, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), Power BI.
  • Basic knowledge of process engineering, process simulations, and process related standards.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Visio.
  • Minimum six years of experience in business process management in a manufacturing industry.
  • Basic knowledge of the business processes for the following domains: manufacturing & testing engineering, production planning, manufacturing & testing execution, quality management, procurement, logistics, material management.
  • Experience in process control and data analytics.
  • Proficient in communicating across various organizational levels, cultures, and departments.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and coordination skills.
  • Strong networking and relations building skills.
  • Experienced in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent U.S. English Written and Oral communication skills
  • 10% Domestic and International
  • Active U. S. Passport strongly preferred.
  • Must be U.S. Person under ITAR regulations.
  • Eligibility to receive a DoD SECRET clearance preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Onsite: 90%
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings throughout the business day and after hours as required.
  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms throughout the business day and after hours as required for meetings, telecons, telephone.
  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications daily.
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment throughout the business day and after hours as required.
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs as required.
  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs as required.
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools, occasional.
  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer. 80% of time in meetings and computer work station.
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving, rarely
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices, conducting presentations or on production floor.
  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice, 10% domestic/international for proposal coordination.
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces across campus.

  • SAP Certification in Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM).
  • Knowledge of the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Plant Maintenance (PM) SAP modules.
  • Experience in Aerospace industry will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Business Processes: 30% As an ERP Business Process Manager, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, testing, controlling, and optimizing the operational processes and procedures within Airbus US. You will also be responsible for the material management domain and for the quality & integrity of business data (consistency of reliable, relevant, and usable data). You will lead process excellence through continuous improvements projects and collaborate with various departments to streamline workflows. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ERP modules and their integration with organizational processes.
  • Process Control and Business data accuracy: 40% Monitoring and ensuring the accurate implementation of cross-functional business processes by executing process control methods. Reviewing master data accuracy, identify the root causes of discrepancies and take corrective and preventive actions. Reviewing the As-Designed, As-Planned and the As-Building, performing the ASB reconciliation when expected. Deliver accurate master data in a timely manner to process owners and internal customers including Finance and Configuration. Managing off nominal cases in FAL when requested by performing transactions in the background at SAP and SCADA systems.
  • Material Management and master data: 30% Leading the material creation process. Ensure that new materials are completed on time. Perform risk assessments and prepare data analytics reports according to the needs of the process owners.
