The ERP Business Analyst will have strong Acumatica or other ERP systems expertise to support, optimize, and enhance our ERP environment. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Acumatica effectively supports organizational goals across finance, HR, management, and other functional areas. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with the ability to translate business needs into functional system solutions while providing ongoing support and improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of solid experience working in ERP systems and how they integrate across business functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Acumatica ERP, including core modules and system configuration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to assess business processes and recommend effective system-based solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business users.
  • Experience managing or supporting projects, including planning, prioritization, and resource coordination.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience in ERP implementation or optimization projects.
  • Experience supporting finance, HR, or management system workflows.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and dashboard design best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and document functional requirements for Acumatica, and maintain compliance with data governance standards.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for system configuration and enhancements.
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure ERP workflows align with organizational goals and best practices.
  • Configure and customize Acumatica to meet business requirements.
  • Manage Acumatica workflows, data view customizations, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Support new user setup, security roles, and access management.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality.
  • Ensure system changes meet business needs and operate correctly before deployment.
  • Provide training to end users to promote effective system adoption.
  • Deliver ongoing support and troubleshooting for Acumatica users.
  • Design, customize, and maintain dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, usability, reliability and relevance for stakeholders.
  • Participate in special projects related to ERP enhancements and integrations.
  • Develop processes for regular data audits and cleansing.
  • Implement and monitor data validation rules and workflows to prevent errors.
  • Perform additional tasks and system-related requests as assigned by the Director of IT.
