We’re proudly celebrating our 95th anniversary this year! We have a great opportunity to join our Corporate team based in Plymouth, MN as an ERP Administrator. The ERP Administrator is responsible for the overall management of the J.H. Larson ERP system and Data Analysis team member(s). This role is responsible for all data and interpretation of the data which flows through J.H. Larson’s ERP system. Tasks include (but not limited to) using analytical data and overall maintenance/management of ERP system to provide outside the box thinking to solve issues, creating high level sales reporting and analytics, determining utilization of various “Queues” to assist in managing Branch operations and providing a frictionless interface for Branch associates and the ERP. The ERP Administrator is the company’s most senior subject matter expert on business related data and analytics to be a high-level advisor to the executive team.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 5 years hands on related experience in ERP system management.
Ability to build and effectively supervise a team.
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or similar relational database, including writing and reading SQL/PL-SQL scripts.
Proven track record in configuring, maintaining, and securing ERP systems across finance, supply chain, or manufacturing.
Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and collaborate within a multi-functional team.
A team player – work together with others to accomplish common goals of the company.
Solid strategic thinking skills to understand business goals to see the bigger picture to make decisions that align technology investments with business strategy.
Excellent math skills.
Self-motivated and self-starter.
Detail oriented, organized, consistent and tenacious.
High operating efficiency using Excel and other data-based tools.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
Willingness to travel (10% to 15%)
Valid US Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Industry related experience preferred.
Epicor Solar Eclipse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage all data and reporting related to J.H. Larson’s ERP system while overseeing and monitoring all of its components.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions with vendors or internal IT teams.
Manage direct reports on the Data Analysis team.
Manage ERP security, user roles, and permissions to ensure compliance.
Provide technical support to ERP users, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and system procedures.
Determine necessary training needed for new employees pertaining to the ERP system and over the Data Analyst training.
Apply patches, updates, and version upgrades in collaboration with software providers.
Monitor Cost Override reports and take necessary action as needed.
Advise executive leadership on creating/interpreting information from J.H. Larson’s ERP system.
