About the role Job Summary The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and securing the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems. This role ensures optimal system performance, implements security protocols, and provides technical support to end users. This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision. Position Summary: The ERP Administrator’s responsibilities include supporting JWC’s corporate instance of Infor VISUAL Manufacturing and related applications. The administrator will be actively involved in end user training [MC1] and end user support[MC2] . The position will interact with users at all levels within the company. The administrator will work with the internal resources or with external vendors in trying to resolve issues promptly when they arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equal on the job experience
• Minimum five years of experience supporting Infor’s VISUAL Manufacturing
• Experience with SQL Server 2016+

• Experience with Infor Quality Management system
• Experience with WM-Synergy’s SRI Macro Server and the associated AvaTax solution
• Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite and the EQ, CPQ, and ION applications
• Experience with installing and managing Infor’s Enterprise Connector
• Familiarity with writing VB Script and supporting VISUAL Manufacturing’s macros

Responsibilities

• Administer ERP System Install, upgrade, patch, and support the Infor VISUAL Manufacturing ERP system.
• Install, upgrade, patch, and support the Infor Quality Management system.
• Maintain ERP databases and apply best practices for backup and health of the ERP.
• Support onboarding and offboarding employees.
• Business Support Provide expert level understanding of the ERP’s capabilities and advise executives, managers, and users on its best use.
• Support health of the ERP by maintaining master data and transactional data.
• Maintain automated and manual run utilities.
• Support the business in maintaining department-based work instructions.
• Assist with metadata loading and maintenance, i.e. payment terms, GL accounts, etc.
• User Support Provide support to the user community by answering questions, resolving issues, and instructing users on best business practices.
• Perform new user training.
• Perform patch and upgrade training.
• IT Team As a member of the IT team, the position will assist with providing solutions to improve user and enterprise efficiency.
• In addition, the administrator is expected to fill in for members of the IT team as required.
