At Envista, our people are our most important resource. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Compensation Director to join our team. The Manager, Equity & Retirement Programs is responsible for the design, execution, governance, and administration of the company’s equity and retirement programs, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and a strong employee experience. This role leads the day-to-day management of equity compensation programs—including RSUs, PSUs, and stock options—and serves as the subject matter expert for the Company’s qualified and non-qualified retirement programs, including the 401(k) and Deferred Compensation plans. The role partners closely with Legal, Finance, Payroll, HR Operations, and external vendors to ensure programs are compliant, scalable, and aligned with the company’s broader total rewards and talent strategies Equity & Stock Programs Own the end-to-end administration of equity compensation programs, including RSUs, PSUs, and stock options. Support the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of equity plans in partnership with Total Rewards leadership, Legal, Finance, and executive stakeholders. Oversee equity grant processes, including approvals, grant setup, vesting, cancellations, forfeitures, and terminations. Partner with Finance and Accounting on equity-related financial reporting, expense forecasting, and disclosures. Ensure compliance with plan documents, SEC requirements (as applicable), tax regulations, and global equity considerations. Lead participant communications, education, and employee support related to equity awards. Retirement Programs Own the governance and administration of the Company’s 401(k) and Deferred Compensation plans, including plan design, compliance, and operational execution. Partner with Legal, Finance, and external counsel on ERISA compliance, plan amendments, testing, audits, and filings. Lead annual processes including non-discrimination testing, provider audits, plan notices, and Form 5500 support. Evaluate retirement program competitiveness and make recommendations to enhance employee value and outcomes. Oversee participant education, communications, and vendor-led engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, equity compensation, retirement programs, or related roles
  • Demonstrated experience administering equity compensation programs and retirement plans.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and external vendors.
  • Managerial or program ownership experience required (people leadership optional based on structure).
  • Strong client focus, with a proven track record of optimizing equity services and processes.
  • Solid understanding of equity and retirement programs
  • Strong data/analytics and process orientation with a customer centric approach
  • Strategic, analytical, and results-oriented leadership mindset, combined with strong execution capability.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
