About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, haul trucks, and excavators safely and efficiently. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks. Load, transport, and stockpile aggregate materials according to production needs. Monitor material flow and communicate with team members to maintain productivity. Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during operations.
Requirements
- Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Strong awareness of safety practices and commitment to compliance.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow operational procedures.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
