About The Position

POSITION BACKGROUND Scale Bank is excited to expand its team with the addition of an Equipment Finance Sales Representative. This is a terrific opportunity if you want to be an integral part of building the bank’s book of business while having an opportunity to grow in your career. You will get exposure to all areas of the bank, with key departments operating on a national playing field. To ensure your success, you will have a formal onboarding program, ongoing mentorship, and access to additional training. How will you know you are succeeding once onboarded? You will be building strong relationships with commercial lenders, following your lead generation process, achieving your key metrics that lead to opportunity flow, and building credibility with your team. POSITION OVERVIEW Generating high quality equipment finance loan and lease assets (65% of your time) Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers. Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals and performance metrics by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics. Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new equipment finance opportunities. Develop and maintain a robust network of high-caliber industry professionals by implementing strategic plans designed to strengthen and cultivate relationships with key referral sources Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial lenders to drive equipment financing opportunities. Provide regular product training and market updates for the commercial lenders to improve their equipment finance cross sell efforts. Present and sell equipment financing solutions to customers, ensuring that they understand the benefits and terms of the financing option(s). Work closely with the credit and underwriting teams to ensure that financing applications are processed efficiently and accurately. Attend industry association and professional organization events to grow the bank’s market presence. Keep up to date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities. Managing, growing, and retaining customer relationships (25% of your time) Create and maintain a positive customer experience to deepen relationships, develop loyalty and increase opportunities. Identify opportunities to grow equipment finance customers into full commercial customers of the Bank. Collaborate with commercial lenders to deepen customer relationships and increase lending opportunities. Ensuring a positive customer experience (10% of your time) Utilize a consultative selling and trusted advisor sales approach to serve prospects and customers. Cultivate multiple relationship connections within the bank to strengthen bonds to increase customer retention. Work with other internal resources to ensure efficient, positive experiences, minimize frustrations, and rapidly troubleshoot problems that may arise. TECHNOLOGY USED IN YOUR ROLE MS Office – Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint Salesforce Enterprise DocuSign ZoomInfo or similar tool HOURS 8 am to 5 pm As you get acclimated to the team and Scale Bank’s systems, you will spend time onsite. Once you are ramped up, you will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule (2 days/week at home). Requirements

  • BS/BA or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in sales preferred, within the equipment finance industry a plus
  • Orientation toward internal and external customer care and providing an exceptional experience
  • Able to organize work, be disciplined in accomplishing tasks, and to persevere in the face of difficulty
  • Able to generate and close new equipment finance loans/leases
  • Able to quickly establish trust and nurture/cultivate long-term relationships
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Energetic, curious, motivated, proactive, and humble
