About The Position

Provides expertise in supply chain procedures related to equipment/capital procurement. Oversees all supply chain tasks related to planning and scheduling activities supporting project and capital acquisition timelines, including quote accuracy, price benchmarking and acceptability, organizational readiness to accept product, installation timeframes, destination and delivery coordination, purchase order creation and tracking, and assessing service contract needs.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years Experience in a hospital or clinical facility or medical manufacturing environment.
  • At least 4 years Experience performing logistics and/or ordering and replenishment functions, and/or bid cycle management, and/or asset management, and/or medical equipment planning/management/maintenance, and/or procurement schedule management
  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the process of acquiring new or replacement equipment for an organization. May identify and consolidate requirements, determine timeframes, and confirm/source suppliers.
  • Function as the point of contact for Supply Chain for all assigned procurement efforts.
  • Administer comprehensive logistics coordination for assigned procurement portfolio/projects, including but not limited facilitating and coordinating all oversight tasks enabling equipment planning and acquisition.
  • Manage to the stated standards associated with, and recommend improvements to, equipment procurement management workflows.
  • Ensure all procurment schedule and status documentation is updated timely and comprehensively.
  • Work closely with various teams to coordinate project logistics activities and optimize processes to meet company objectives.
  • Manages to project schedules and capital procurement cycles.
  • Coordinates with HTM to understand and advance asset management plans.
  • Assist in developing deliverables, including presentations, narratives, and other required outputs to report progress, outstanding decisions needed, and upcoming milestones.
  • Supports the research of equipment, as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
