What You'll Be Doing: Create an exceptional shopping experience by warmly greeting customers and offering expert advice on farm and equine needs. Assist customers in selecting the right products. Stay up to date on new products, promotions, and sales to make personalized recommendations. Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product displays. Handle customer inquiries, returns, and concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset. Work in the side yard, helping customers with feed, hay, and propane refills. Operate a forklift to move and organize heavy merchandise. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations. Operate registers and assist with stocking, inventory, and other tasks as needed. What We’re Looking For: Passion for farm life and the equine industry - whether through personal experience, farming, ranching, or working with livestock. Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but if you're eager to learn, we’re happy to train the right candidate! Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude. Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems. Experience in visual merchandising is a bonus. What You’ll Need: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and comfortably move merchandise as needed. Ability to stand, bend, squat, and climb ladders throughout your shift. Willingness to operate equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and cash registers. Training will be provided for forklift operation and propane filling. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays. A positive, team-oriented attitude!

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or reach merchandise overhead.
  • Capable of pushing/pulling merchandise using proper equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
  • Physically able to stand, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable operating equipment such as a dolly, hand truck, forklift, baler, computer, and cash register (forklift and baler operations not required for individuals under 18).
  • Positive and friendly attitude with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Must be reliable and able to work scheduled shifts.
  • Availability to work varied hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Passion for farm life and the equine industry - whether through personal experience, farming, ranching, or working with livestock.
