About The Position
Camp Widjiwagan of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee is Now Hiring for a Equestrian Counselor Position Type: Seasonal – Summer 2026 Pay: $ $110 /day Minimum Age to Apply: 18 Shift: Sunday to Friday (Overnight) Are you passionate about horses and love working with kids? What You’ll Do: As an Equestrian Counselor , you’ll teach riding skills, care for the barn, tack, and herd, and guide campers through equestrian activities. You’ll also serve as a cabin counselor, creating a supportive and fun environment while ensuring camper safety and unforgettable experiences. What You Need: Minimum Age: 18 Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Prior experience working with and riding horses required Certifications: CPR/First Aid/AED and Camp Staff Training (we’ll help you get these).
