The EOS II plays a key role in advancing the City of Dayton’s civil rights, fair housing, and equity and inclusion efforts. This position independently conducts civil rights investigations, leads education and outreach initiatives, and supports the Community Appeals Board (CAB) in carrying out its responsibilities related to police–community relations. The EOS II also supports the Human Relations Council (HRC) Board and contributes to the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of initiatives designed to affirmatively further fair housing and promote equitable treatment across the community.
