The Equal Opportunity Specialist I (EOS I) will ensure that residents are treated equitably in housing, employment, public accommodations, credit activities, and police interactions regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. The EOS I supports the City of Dayton’s commitment to equity, fairness, and equal treatment by assisting with civil rights enforcement, education, outreach, and police–community relations. The EOS I plays a key role in supporting the Community Appeals Board (CAB) and the Human Relations Council (HRC) Board and provides support across the organization to advance equitable treatment for the community.
