eProcurement Specialist
About The Position
Under general supervision of the MMIS, Applications Manager and following established policies and procedures, develops and maintains HSS Stock and Non-Stock electronic requisitions in conjunction with end-users and other Materials Management staff. E-Procurement Specialist also assists end-users with e-procurement from web-based vendors. Maintains open communication with Pyxis Coordinator to monitor buying patterns and the appropriate method of inventory delivery to assure premier customer service. E-Procurement specialist is also responsible for preparing complex journal entries and reconciliations related to Distribution transactions. Ability to work with databases and spreadsheets. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and understanding of database structure and design required.
- Ability to produce analytical reports and teach business processes required.
- Ability to work with databases and spreadsheets.
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years related experience preferred.
