About The Position

Oldcastle Infrastructure is looking for an EPM Specialist to join the Corporate Finance team. The individual is responsible for supporting the existing EPM applications, including FCCS, PBCS and EDMCS. The company is growing and so are our system needs, the role is a key contributor in supporting our EPM applications and requires a strong background in finance and data analytics. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem solver, detailed oriented, and has a solid business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. The EPM Specialist serves as the support person and will work to become a subject matter expert for the EPM environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or another technical field.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and consolidations, accounting and planning databases.
  • Working knowledge of the functional aspects of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement.
  • Organizational skills required in the form of documentation of work/training instructions.
  • Committed to a continuous learning environment to build expertise in EPM technologies.
  • Ability to collaborate with other members of Finance, Operations and IT.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office w/ Advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with EPM products.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Administering EPM: maintain/track hierarchy and system updates, validation and reconciliation, system security, backups and recovery, support EPM reports and troubleshooting system and user issues.
  • Utilize Excel skills to create formulas, simple pivot tables, and reports.
  • Perform data analytics to support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support data integrations from source systems to EPM.
  • Act as a department liaison to various business functions.
  • Understand dependencies and interrelationships between various components of Oracle EPM Cloud.
  • Maintain documentation and training materials to ensure the Finance Community is continuously educated.
