Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Epicor Kinetic Platform Ownership
  • Serve as the primary administrator and functional owner of Anova’s Epicor Kinetic ERP environment, ensuring stability, scalability, security, and alignment with business goals.
  • Lead the centralization of operations onto Epicor Kinetic, consolidating processes, data, and reporting across business units.
  • Own system configuration, user roles, security, environments, and release management for Epicor Kinetic (cloud and related tooling).
  • Plan, test, and execute upgrades, patches, and new module deployments, coordinating with Epicor and implementation partners as needed.
  • Business Process & Operational Excellence
  • Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Leadership to understand end-to-end business processes and translate them into effective Epicor configurations.
  • Proactively map current-state and future-state processes, identifying inefficiencies, manual workarounds, and opportunities for automation and standardization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, helping stakeholders understand what Epicor can and should do versus where process change is required.
  • Drive continuous improvement by aligning ERP capabilities with operational KPIs and strategic initiatives.
  • Cloud Migration & Modernization
  • Play a key role in Anova’s transition to Epicor Kinetic in the cloud, including environment strategy, data migration planning, testing, and cutover support.
  • Ensure cloud best practices around security, performance, data integrity, and system monitoring are followed.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align Epicor architecture with broader enterprise systems and integration strategy.
  • Automation, Configuration & Integration
  • Design and maintain Epicor configurations, workflows, BPMs, dashboards, BAQs, and reports to streamline business operations.
  • Evaluate and implement process automation using native Epicor tools before introducing customizations.
  • Support and enhance integrations between Epicor and external systems (e.g., EDI, PLM, WMS, CRM, financial tools).
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across integrated systems through validation, controls, and monitoring.
  • Reporting, Data & Decision Support
  • Develop and maintain operational and financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs within Epicor to support leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with business leaders to define reporting requirements and ensure data is trusted, timely, and actionable.
  • Oversee data governance, including master data management, audits, and cleanup initiatives.
  • User Enablement & Change Management
  • Lead ERP change management efforts by supporting adoption, communication, and training during rollouts and enhancements.
  • Develop training materials, SOPs, and documentation tailored to different user groups and roles.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex Epicor issues, balancing user needs with system integrity and long-term maintainability.
  • Project Leadership & Governance
  • Lead or significantly contribute to ERP-related projects including new modules, integrations, process redesigns, and system enhancements.
  • Manage priorities, dependencies, and risks across concurrent initiatives.
  • Maintain system documentation, architectural decisions, and process maps to support long-term sustainability.
