About The Position

Under general direction has duties of instructing directing and checking the work of other systems analysis and programming personnel who support and maintain revenue cycle applications. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of one or ore of the following; OpTime Anesthesia Beaker Anatomical Beaker Clinical Pathology Home Health Clinical and/or Home Health Billing applications systems analysis and programming. Has good understanding of the business or function for which application is designed. Responsible for quality assurance review. At this level the team members are recognized as an expert in their own area and perhaps beyond own function. They anticipate issues solve unique and complex problems and may act as a project lead on small projects or initiatives. Devise or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations operating time and form of desired results for clinical ancillary applications. Confers with departmental managers to determine requirements and exercises a wide latitude in choosing optimum solutions to resolve those needs. Responsible for specification development program design coding testing debugging and documentation. Commands extensive knowledge of business/function of legacy systems institutional systems and departmental systems and processes both automated and manual; understands how data flows between the systems and uses analytical skills to assist/direct/code enhancements to existing and new systems. Directs monitors and evaluates the work of team members. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience: 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Licensure: None required
