To learn more about us, visit www.impact-advisors.com Job Summary Impact Advisors is seeking an experienced Epic Client Systems Administrator – Web and Server Services to manage, support, and optimize Epic web‑based and server‑side client components within enterprise healthcare environments. This role ensures system availability, performance, and security across Epic web services and supporting Windows Server infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) certification and has hands‑on experience supporting Epic client web services, IIS, and enterprise healthcare systems.

Requirements

  • Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) certification
  • 3+ years of IT systems administration experience
  • Experience supporting Epic client web services
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, DNS
  • Experience with certificates, authentication, and load‑balanced web services
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare IT experience
  • PowerShell scripting experience
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and change management practices
  • Microsoft or infrastructure‑related certifications
  • Familiarity with cloud services - AWS or Azure
  • Automation and scripting
  • Load Balancer functions in an Epic environment
  • Epic application integrations with third-party systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Epic web and server‑based client components
  • Support IIS‑hosted Epic services, middleware, and certificate management
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot server‑side issues impacting Epic access and session stability
  • Plan and execute Epic client and web services upgrades
  • Participate in integrated testing and user acceptance testing
  • Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for Epic client issues
  • Collaborate with Epic application, infrastructure, network, and security teams
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and configuration standards
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, IT security, and audit requirements
  • Support SSO, MFA, Active Directory, and certificate‑based authentication
