About The Position

Job Summary Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician performs pacemaker, ICD, and other device interrogations; Identifies normal and abnormal findings during interrogations. Reviews and analyzes the data from implanted devices using specific programs; creates summaries and reports of the findings and test results using knowledge and understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Reports abnormal findings to the appropriate provider; make device changes as directed. Provides patient education to patients, family, or significant others regarding use of loop recorders, device monitoring, use of remote monitoring equipment, symptoms to monitor for, appropriate testing follow up as necessary and as directed by the provider.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in any field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of current EP implantable devices.
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
• BLS in 90 days
• ACLS within 12 months

Nice To Haves

• Registered Nurse
• 1-2 Years Telemetry Experience
• Prior ICU experience
• Prior device or pacemaker experience
• Understanding of cardiac arrhythmias/EKG strips
